Second Generation Cruise-Mate for Harley-Davidson presents a much cleaner look (click here for an image of the original Cruise-Mate compared to Second Generation Cruise-Mate), easier installation and improved holding capability. We've eliminated the need for the original equipment friction shoe by molding a 6/6 nylon patch into the end of the Cruise-Mate Insert.

Installation of the Second Generation Cruise-Mate is extremely easy, simply open the switch housing, remove the original friction shoe, unscrew the original Cruise-Mate insert, screw in the Second Generation Insert and adjust. In most cases installation of the upgrade will take less than 15 minutes.
